Privacy policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This policy explains what information Ghettochopped (ghettochopped.com) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it simple: we collect as little as we can to run the site, measure what people read and keep the lights on with advertising.

Information you give us

When you use our contact form, you send us your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. We use that only to read and answer your message. When you sign up for our newsletter, the form collects your email address and any other details the form asks for, and we use it to send you our emails. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link inside it.

Newsletter form provider

Our newsletter signup form is hosted by a third-party form and CRM provider (Sphere CRM, served from link.sphere-crm.com). When you submit that form, your information goes to that provider so it can manage our mailing list. Their own privacy terms apply to how they process it.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server and the services we use may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited and the time of your visit. We use this to keep the site running, fix problems and understand which stories people read.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We and our partners may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, though some ad and analytics features may not.

Google Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages viewed and time on site, and Google processes that data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics.

Advertising (Revive Adserver)

Ads on Ghettochopped are delivered through Revive Adserver, served from ads.fnatrx.com. The ad server may set cookies or read similar identifiers to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad and count impressions and clicks. Advertisers whose ads appear may also receive information about ad performance.

Headlines from other sites and external links

Some pages show headlines from other publications. Those headlines are loaded through our own server, so your browser does not contact those publishers until you click. Once you follow a link to another site, including our Google News link and social share links, that site’s privacy policy applies, not ours.

How long we keep information

We keep contact messages only as long as needed to respond and keep a reasonable record. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to object to or limit certain processing. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, the GDPR gives you these rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. To use any of these rights, contact us and we’ll respond within the time the law requires.

Children

Ghettochopped is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Big changes will be noted on the site.
